Thank you for joining us! This is the first podcast in our study on the book of Galatians, led by Tim Terry. We try to have the podcast uploaded by the end of Sunday night each week, so we hope you will continue to come back - it is sure to be an intense journey, as we look at God's Word through a historical, Hebraic lens. What about Galatians? It is nearly impossible to attempt a life of Torah observance, as a believer in Messiah, with out encountering the question, "what about Galatians?" It is a valid question - one that needs to be addressed with prayer, diligent study, and contextual interpretation.
Paul wrote this book with a specific people, and a specific purpose in mind. Nearly two thousand years later, the church has taken his words and made them say things contrary to his intent and character; a bold statement in it's self, but one that is easily seen if Galatians is looked at through a Hebraic lens.
Join us at The Carpenter's Shop as Tim Terry leads us through the book of Galatians. Is it really possible that Paul intended for the letter of Galatians to be contrary to the commandments of God? Discover that there is an alternative
interpretation that is more in line with the whole of God’s word when
viewed from the cultural and historical context from which Paul wrote. Discover the true message of a very misunderstood letter from Paul as we dig into the cultural and historical context from which Paul wrote. Thanks for joining us on The Word Is Grace; may the Lord bless you and keep you, Shabbat shalom! Comments[0] |
